We take the protection of your personal data seriously. Personal data is processed exclusively within the scope of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and only to the extent necessary to operate this website and handle your enquiries. This website does not use tracking or analytics services and does not embed third-party content; fonts are served from our own server.

3. Hosting and server logs

This website is hosted on a server located in a data centre in Germany. When you visit the website, the web server or upstream reverse proxy automatically processes technical access data: your IP address in truncated (masked) form, date and time of access, the page requested, the HTTP status code and your browser’s user agent. This data is required to deliver the website, ensure stability and defend against attacks. The IP address is masked at the moment the log entry is written; log files are rotated automatically and archived logs are deleted after seven days at the latest. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure and stable operation of the website).

4. Contact form and email contact

If you contact us via the contact form or by email, we process the data you provide: name, email address, optionally a phone number, the subject and the content of your message. We use this data exclusively to process and answer your enquiry. The transmission is encrypted; your message is delivered to us by email via our email provider.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where your enquiry is aimed at concluding a contract, and otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering enquiries). We store the data until your enquiry has been dealt with conclusively, and beyond that only where statutory retention obligations apply or a business relationship results from the enquiry. To protect against automated abuse, the form relies solely on server-side technical measures: to rate-limit requests, a non-reversible technical identifier (hash) derived from your IP address is processed in memory for at most one hour; no third-party service is used for this purpose.

5. Cookies and local storage

This website does not use tracking or marketing cookies. Only one functional cookie is set, which stores your language preference (NEXT_LOCALE). Your theme preference (light or dark mode) is stored in your browser’s local storage and is not transmitted to us. Both are technically required for the function you requested (Section 25 (2) no. 2 of the German TDDDG); no consent is required. You can delete cookies and local storage at any time via your browser settings.

6. Data sharing

Your data is not shared with third parties, except for the technical service providers required to operate the website and deliver email (hosting and email providers processing data in Germany or the EU). No data is transferred to third countries.

7. Data security

This website is delivered encrypted via HTTPS (TLS). We also take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have, in particular, the following rights:

• access to the data processed (Art. 15 GDPR),
• rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR),
• erasure (Art. 17 GDPR),
• restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR),
• data portability (Art. 20 GDPR),
• objection to processing based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (Art. 21 GDPR).

To exercise your rights, an informal email to mail@cleancodesolutions.de is sufficient. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR), for example the Data Protection Commissioner of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.

9. Changes to this privacy policy

We will update this privacy policy whenever the technical design of the website or the legal situation changes. The version published on this page applies.
